Moca Storefront

A street-facing metalwork project where the storefront itself becomes the signature piece, using a hand-forged vine pattern to give the facade identity without losing clarity or function.

Location North Shore, Illinois
Completed 2024
Project Type Storefront metalwork
Signature Move A hand-forged vine-pattern facade that turns the street-facing storefront into the identity of the space
Project Story

The Moca storefront is a street-facing metal facade first, with the decorative language kept subordinate to the entrance’s job. The white vine gate gives the shop a distinct public face without turning the opening into a pure ornament.

The strongest exterior views show the relationship clearly: brick, stone, glass, and hand-shaped iron working together as one frontage. The piece reads as security, identity, and craft at the same time, which is what the storefront needed.

Closer details hold that line. The curves stay controlled, the frame stays clean, and the fabrication remains visible enough to feel made rather than dressed up. That keeps the project grounded in use while still giving Moca a memorable presence from the street.

Next Step

If Moca Storefront feels close to what you want, tell us about your project.

The useful next step is a short conversation. Tell us what the space needs to do, where the project stands now, and what part of this project feels most relevant to your own.

  • Mention this project, or the detail from it that is closest to your goal.
  • Include the location, timing, and whether this is one phase or part of a larger scope.
  • Explain what the finished space needs to do, not just what it should look like.
