Robinwood Custom Home

A family home reworked around daily routines, with the stair and built-ins establishing the house's visual logic and the finished rooms carrying it through.

Signature Move A custom steel stair, integrated built-ins, and a restrained finish palette tying the house together
Project Story

Robinwood is a full-home renovation in Highland Park presented as a tighter residential case study. The goal was not to make the house louder. It was to make it more coherent, with the stair, built-ins, millwork, and lighting working together as one residential language.

The stair is the strongest focal point. Its geometric black steel form gives the house a clear center, while the adjacent storage and casework keep the entry and main level feeling deliberate rather than overworked. The gallery stays focused on finished rooms instead of construction commentary.

From the dining room to the spa bath and hallway lighting, the project aims for a calm, finished feel. Warm materials, cleaner lines, and a more careful pace from room to room make the home feel personal without pushing it into a showcase.

Next Step

If Robinwood Custom Home feels close to what you want, tell us about your project.

The useful next step is a short conversation. Tell us what the space needs to do, where the project stands now, and what part of this project feels most relevant to your own.

  • Mention this project, or the detail from it that is closest to your goal.
  • Include the location, timing, and whether this is one phase or part of a larger scope.
  • Explain what the finished space needs to do, not just what it should look like.
